To celebrate the mental health benefits of cooking, Act-Belong-Commit hosted a mentally healthy recipe competition. Western Australians were invited to submit their favourite recipe and explain in 150 words or less how their recipe helped to keep them and their families mentally healthy.
Entries streamed in from around Western Australia from Esperance in the south to Kununurra in the north. The calibre of recipes and accompanying Act-Belong-Commit messages was extremely high. After preparing all recipes, which the Act-Belong-Commit team thoroughly enjoyed judging, we selected a number of these to publish in this cookbook. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the competition and congratulations to those who have their recipes published in the Happy Heart Happy Mind cookbook.
