As part of their continuing series of concerts celebrating the jazz greats, WAYJO salutes Gil Evans, a pioneer of cool jazz and jazz fusion. 100 years since his birth, the music of Gil Evans and his collaborator Miles Davis has permeated Big Band music to this day.
