PTSD West Support Group

About PTSD West Support Group

PTSD west is a group for Western Australian women over the age of 18 to come together to share experiences and information about living with, and emerging from, PTSD.

Coping with the symptoms of PTSD is difficult and can lead to isolation. By connecting and sharing experiences we can reduce isolation and support each other on the journey to recovery.

This is a group organised by women with PTSD and is not a counselling or therapy group. It is important that, when needed, people access professional support outside of the group.

The group has a Facebook page as well as a closed Facebook group and meets monthly in person for informal coffee catch ups. There is no need for anyone to discuss their trauma.

From this page there is a link to a closed Facebook group that is only available to Western Australian women who have PTSD. To keep the group safe for the current members, women interested in joining will be asked to answer three questions. They will need to answer all of them. We look forward to having you join the group!

Please Note: Act-Belong-Commit promotes events on behalf of the community of Western Australia. We do not host these events ourselves. Please contact the host organisation directly with enquiries.
