Creative Volunteering Opportunities – Martumili Artists (Newman)
The program offers immersive, hands on experience within our arts centre where volunteers engage with artists in their environment- a unique experience in a remote setting!
About this activity...
Martumili Artists host volunteers on a monthly basis. Please let us know your particular set of skills and interests and we will work to ensure your experience with us is as mutually rewarding as possible.
Volunteers are expected to do all or some of the following:
-Mixing paints
-Stretching and priming canvas
-Cataloguing artworks
-Caring for senior artists
-Preparing tea and lunch
-General administrative tasks
-Keeping the gallery and studio tidy
-Installation/de-installation (depending on the time of year)
