FAIR GAME provides unique health & fitness programs and recycled sports equipment, building the capacity of under-serviced communities to promote healthy lifestyle choices and live healthier lives.
We work with communities, building their capacity to promote healthy lifestyle choices which reduce the risk of lifestyle related disease, build social cohesion and improve mental well-being.
We serve remote and under-serviced communities around Australia including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and CALD communities.
Our Programs aim to:
- Inspire children to stay active and look after their bodies.
- Increase social capital and improved long term health outcomes through improved participation in sport.
- Reduce communicable and lifestyle related disease via a holistic approach combining fitness and health education with programs designed by healthcare professionals.
- Reduce waste through the recycling of sports equipment.
- Ensure geographical location is not a barrier to accessibility of healthy lifestyle choices.
- Increase cultural awareness and understanding through fostering relationships between young Australians of diverse backgrounds.
- Create future leaders through the Fair Game Academy to champion closing the gap in life expectancy between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
