Fishability – Fishers with Disability
Fishability assists children and adults living with disabilities by proving support so they can experience the joy of fishing.
About this activity...
Fishability aims to improve the wellbeing and self-esteem of Western Australians living with disabilities by supporting recreational fishing opportunities and experiences.
Fishability delivers both jetty and boat programs regularly in the Perth metro areas and regional centres free of charge.
With motorised reels and casters and modified vessels, we can accommodate children and adults with disabilities.
All activities are provided at no cost, however we do request that support workers accompany the participants and play an active role in the overall wellbeing of the individual.
Program operates in Busselton, Perth Metro North Jetty, Perth Metro South Jetty, Perth Boar, Albany, Mandurah and Geraldton.
