Hamersley Habitat Community Garden

About this activity...

The Hamersley Habitat Community Garden Members aim to create a safe, healthy and sustainable environment for the community to enjoy. The garden is self funded and is run by the community for the community.

The Garden aims to foster a sense of community, encourage environmentally sustainable practices and provide people with an opportunity to participate in gardening activities and feel a sense of belonging in the community.  Since the grand opening the Garden has become a neighbourhood hub, bringing together local schools, small businesses and people of all ages.

There are a number of ways you can get involved and support the Hamersley Habitat Community Garden.
- Join in at our monthly busy bees
- Become a member
- Follow us on Facebook
- Join one of our weekly Gardening Groups on a Friday 8am-12pm or Wednesday 9am-11am.
- Support our two annual fundraisers; Easter Saturday Sausage Sizzle/cake stall at Bunnings Balcatta or our
- Annual Spring Open Day Event in November.

We need your support and the support of the community to keep the garden flourishing!
