Mothers Without Mothers is a peer support group for Mothers (with children of any age) mothering without the presence of their own Mother.
Bringing women who share this experience together to provide connection with emotional and peer support.
It's designed as a space for Mothers to meet monthly and emotionally support each other and prevent feelings of isolation as we Mother without a Mother, as well as a Facebook group for online support.
It addresses the fact that we are not all part of a traditional family with grandparents and extended family available to help with advice and support to bring up our children and seeks to take advantage of shared knowledge from community members.
Where: Hyde Park meet ups, and online support on Facebook
