About this activity...
Native ARC Inc is a non-profit organisation with two important priorities. The first is the provision of medical care and rehabilitation services for over 3350 injured, sick, orphaned native wildlife each year. Located in the south metropolitan region of Perth WA, Native ARC receives injured wildlife from a variety of sources including the public, veterinarian clinics, local councils, rangers and other wildlife centres.Native ARC’s second priority is the provision of information/education on the importance of biodiversity and environmental sustainability to support the conservation of native flora and fauna. These services are provided to the general public, schools, tertiary and training institutions.
Native ARC is always looking for volunteers. As we are open 7 days a week, we need as many people possible to help out with the endless tasks that take place at the Centre. We train all volunteers on site and you do not need to have previous experience working with animals. However in order to volunteer you must be over 16 years of age and is recommended you have a current tetanus vaccination.
