About this activity...

Young people aged between 12 and 25 years with an interest in the arts are welcome to visit our Open Access Youth Arts Studio. Open four afternoons each week, the studio is a safe and supportive space for aspiring young artists and young people to participate in arts activities including music, multimedia, painting, urban art and more.

All Open Access programs are:

• Free of charge
• Staffed by qualified youth workers who can provide support and referrals to other youth services and agencies if required
• Workshops are run by community artists and guest facilitators
• Healthy refreshments and snacks are also provided free of charge
• Opportunities to showcase the participants artworks or talents are given throughout the year with the production of exhibitions at the Studio and support to perform at several community events

Who it’s for?
Any young person between the ages of 12 – 25 years with an interest in the arts or who just wants to have a go at something different.

When?
Open Access is open during school terms (excluding public holidays) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3:30pm – 5:30pm.
