Painting and drawing are powerful tools that can help us disconnect from stress, express our creativity and improve focus and concentration.

 Here are some ideas on how you can paint and draw for your mental health:
- Set aside time in your day or week to be creative. Whether it’s to make a sketch, trying painting or colouring for the first time!
- Get family or friends involved in a creative activity with you. Head down to your local park with some paper and draw what you find interesting and compare what you’ve drawn.
- See if there are local painting or drawing groups in your area you can join. You don’t have to have experience to paint and draw, you can start anytime!
- Head to your local government website for any painting and drawing activities they may be running.
