Practicing gratitude daily helps you to tune in and recognise the positive things in life, things people have done for you and the things that you have. It can help your wellbeing by promoting feelings of happiness and positivity and also connection to and appreciation of others.

Here are some ways you can practice gratitude in everyday life:
- Start a gratitude journal. You can do this on your own in a notebook or on a device. There are templates you can follow or you can just keep it simple and jot down three things you were grateful for each day.
- Express gratitude more deeply. Rather than just saying thank you, explain why you’re grateful and what that meant to you.
- Make a gratitude collage. You can use photos, words or anything that visually represents what you’re grateful for.
