Mentally Healthy WA is committed to helping the Western Australian community achieve good mental health and well-being. We recognise that individuals and community groups play an important role in spreading the mentally healthy message.

The Awards recognise and showcase WA people and organisations (including schools) that epitomise the 'Act-Belong-Commit' way of life, and celebrates their mentally healthy achievements.

 

Nominations for the 2017 Act-Belong-Commit Awards are now closed.

Winners & finalists will be annouced during Mental Health Week (7-14 October 2017).

Recent research suggests that the sorts of lifestyle factors promoted in Western Australia’s Act-Belong-Commit mental health promotion campaign could contribute to reductions in problem drinking in older adults. While most Australians enjoy the occasional beer or glass of wine, with no risk to their health, some Australians’ drinking habits are harmful.
