Salt and Sand

Okay, winter has only just finished, however what better time to hit the beach! You don’t even need to go in the water.

Spring is the perfect time to check out a stunning coastal sunset, be it with your family, friends (human or furry), or loved one for a romantic date! Why not pack a picnic, grab some local fish and chips, or take cricket set for a hit around with your mates.

And we wouldn’t be a health promotion campaign if we didn’t remind you to be responsible and slip, slop, slap, slide and shade!

Get Amongst the Wildflowers

Spring sees the wildflower season in full swing across WA. The six-month season starts in the north in June/July, moving to the south in September, finishing up in October and November throughout the South West.

If you’ve never been to the Araluen Tulip Festival before, it’s the perfect day out with friends, the family and your camera. Go for a gentle stroll around the grounds while you take in the fresh air and scenery, or if you’re feeling adventurous (or lazy) take the train tour.
