Running for Youth Connectors

Posted 1 Apr 2019

Do you want to make a difference, or are you looking for a mentally healthy challenge?

Mental illness is a growing issue among young people in Australia, affecting one quarter annually and contributing to nearly 50% of the burden of disease in young people.

For this year’s 10th anniversary of HBF run for a Reason, Act-Belong-Commit will be participating in the Commonwealth Bank 4km (Wave C) on 19 May 2019, to raise much needed funds for youth mental health in WA.

If you are seeking an opportunity to Act-Belong-Commit and take on a new challenge, why not join us and run for a reason that really matters! Registering is easy. Simply follow the steps below to join Team Act-Belong-Commit and sign-up to start fundraising with us. If you aren’t ‘run ready’ you can still help out by donating to an existing Team Member or fundraising for us.

All money raised will go towards supporting our Youth Connectors Program; empowering young people to not only look after their own mental health, but to also assist others to take-up mentally healthy activities to improve their mental wellbeing and overall quality of life.
