Rowing WA is a non-profit sporting organisation representing member rowing clubs and affiliated school rowing programs in Western Australia. The delivery of rowing programs is administered by individual rowing clubs and also by schools conducting rowing programs.

Through the club and school system the sport caters for male and female rowers from elite to novice level including disabled athletes. Over 2,500 club and school rowers regularly participate in rowing activities in Western Australia.

Anyone can join a rowing club, regardless of their fitness or ability. Rowing caters for all individuals, from those who are simply looking for fun, fitness and recreation in a friendly, inclusive environment to those who are interested in becoming the best rower they can be.

It provides participants with valuable life skills and fosters an environment which reflects rowing’s traditional values of teamwork, focus discipline and determination within a club culture that is friendly and welcoming.

Rowing also offers and  has successful pathways which carry talented athletes from club rowing to the Olympics.

Rowing clubs provide the opportunity for individuals to row recreationally for fun and fitness - or the opportunity to compete and to achieve their personal best!
