During Term 3, Mentally Healthy WA ran the Snap Happy Competition for staff from our Mentally Healthy School Partners.

We received over 50 entries to the competition, which were accompanied by heart-warming and inspirational stories. We are lucky to have so many staff members in WA schools making a conscious effort to be more mentally healthy.

To enter, staff needed to submit a photo capturing what keeps them mentally healthy. The winning entry was submitted by Jill Pethers from Karratha Senior High School;

“This is a photo of some of our local dive group (Red Dirt Divers) just after a great dive on the wreck behind. We meet new people, keep the environment tidy and discover new spots to enjoy our passion.”

Jill was excited to learn she had won the competition and was grateful to share her story.

Thank you to everyone who entered the Snap Happy Competition, and who are making proactive steps every day to be more mentally healthy.
